Project Manager – National Grid Substation Project

We are currently looking for an experienced Project Manager with a strong Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) background to join a major National Grid substation project based in Liverpool.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on a high-profile infrastructure scheme with a secured 12 months of work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee delivery of M&E packages on National Grid substation works
• Manage programme, subcontractors, health & safety, and client coordination
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to required quality standards
• Lead site meetings and liaise with engineering and commercial teams
• Drive progress and maintain strong stakeholder relationships

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Project Manager on substation, energy, utilities, or heavy infrastructure projects
• Strong Mechanical & Electrical background essential
• National Grid experience highly desirable
• SMSTS, CSCS, and relevant industry qualifications
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to manage fast-paced project environments
