School Kitchen Assistant – Harlow

We are currently recruiting reliable and hardworking School Kitchen Assistants to support friendly and busy schools across Harlow.

This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced Kitchen Assistants, Catering Assistants, School Catering Staff, or individuals with hospitality and food service experience looking for rewarding work within a school setting.

The successful candidate will support the smooth running of the school kitchen, helping prepare and serve meals while maintaining high hygiene and cleanliness standards.

The Role:

• Assisting with food preparation and meal service
• Serving pupils and staff during breakfast and lunch periods
• Cleaning kitchen equipment, surfaces and dining areas
• Washing dishes, trays and utensils
• Supporting the kitchen team with general catering duties
• Following food hygiene and health & safety procedures at all times

Ideal Candidates Will Have:

• Previous experience as a Kitchen Assistant, Catering Assistant, or within hospitality
• Experience working within schools or busy kitchens desirable
• Food Hygiene Certificate preferred but not essential
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking attitude
• Ability to work well within a team and in a fast-paced environment
