To support this journey, they are looking to appoint a Finance Manager, Group Operations to strengthen financial control, elevate reporting and drive operational excellence across the finance function.
The Opportunity
This is a high-impact, highly visible role at the centre of Group Finance.
You’ll take ownership of core finance operations while playing a key role in improving reporting quality, strengthening controls and driving meaningful process and systems improvement across the function.
It’s a role that blends hands-on finance ownership with genuine transformation, ideal for someone who enjoys both running the numbers and improving how they are produced.
What You’ll Do
- Lead finance operations across billing, AR and credit control
- Strengthen financial controls, governance and regulatory compliance
- Support audit activity and liaise with external auditors (including Big 4 exposure)
- Improve month-end reporting accuracy, consistency and timeliness
- Enhance reporting packs, dashboards and KPI frameworks for leadership teams
- Analyse trends, working capital movements and “what-if” scenarios to support decision-making
- Drive automation, system improvements and process standardisation
- Identify inefficiencies and implement scalable, future-ready solutions
- Partner across the business to improve financial discipline and performance
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) with strong PQE
- Strong technical grounding in accounting, reporting, compliance and controls
- Experience in audit environments and stakeholder management
- Confident turning financial data into clear, commercial insight
- Comfortable working in complex, fast-moving or evolving environments
- Proven track record of improving processes, systems and efficiency
- Strong communicator able to influence senior stakeholders
- Experience in international or multi-entity businesses (desirable)
