Operational and Systems Accountant / Financial Controller (3 Month Contract)

£200 - £300 per day DOE
As a firm of highly experienced finance professionals, our client’s objective is to provide financial direction with the aim of helping small to medium sized organisations to achieve their potential. An opportunity has arisen for an Operational and Systems Accountant / Financial Controller to join their team on a contract basis.
This role would suit an experienced systems accountant or financial controller looking to develop their career on a rewarding short term contract. Our client requires somebody who has a high level of operational as well as financial system development work and is computer literate.
The contract would involve moving the clients current SAP reporting and financials to its next stage of development and to bring together various "pools of information" to have information in one place and that is readily accessible.
To be considered for the role of Operational and Systems Accountant / Financial Controller, you must have:
- Previous experience as a financial controller or operations manager
- An operations and systems background
Additionally, you must have excellent people skills with the ability to work independently and on your own initiative.
Although not essential, knowledge or experience of SAP would be a distinct advantage to your application. An accountancy qualification would also be beneficial.
