With nearly 50 years of experience, our client is one of the UK’s most respected and best known brands with a well deserved reputation for quality and innovation in the home improvements market sector. An opportunity has now arisen for a Credit Controller to join their team.
This is the ideal role for an experienced credit controller looking to develop their career with a household brand.
As a Credit Controller, you will be responsible for managing the day to day collection process, including maintaining outstanding debt below targets set by the company.
You will be tasked with:
- Carrying out credit checks on potential customers
- Producing invoices for all commercial contracts
- Maintaining correct and up to date status on all outstanding invoices
- Achieving monthly debt reduction targets
- Allocating all payments received to corresponding accounts
- Producing weekly management reports
To be considered for this position, you must have solid experience in a previous credit control role.
Additionally, as a Credit Controller, you must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to communicate with staff and customers effectively to achieve the desired result.
