Surveyor – Home Improvements (Residential)

£24,000 Plus Company Car, Mobile, Laptop
With nearly 50 years of experience, our client is one of the UK’s most respected and best known brands with a well deserved reputation for quality and innovation in the home improvements market sector. An opportunity has now arisen for a dynamic and motivated Surveyor to join their team.
This role would suit a talented and ambitious surveyor with excellent knowledge of construction processes, looking to develop their career with a household name.
As a Surveyor, you will be responsible for accurately surveying and recording requirements of customers’ orders, including resolving any customer problems. Working as part of a team, you will ensure all sales contracts are specified to customer requirements and reflect the company’s brand image.
You will be tasked with:
- Accurately measuring and prompting processing of surveys
- Site surveying
- Reviewing product suitability
- Managing contracts and price changes
- Resolving problems, including replacements
- Liaising with sales, including price resolution
To be considered for the role of Surveyor, you must have:
- Previous surveying experience
- Excellent knowledge of construction processes
- A clean and current driving licence
Additionally, you must be an excellent communicator with the ability to solve problems effectively. Although not essential, a City & Guilds qualification in carpentry/joinery would be a distinct advantage to your application.
