Commercial Director – ACA, ACCA or CIMA (Relocation Opportunity)

Our client is a leading, global provider of integrated risk mitigation solutions to multinational corporations, governments and non-governmental organisations. An exciting opportunity has now arisen for a Commercial Director to join their team.
This is the ideal role for high calibre candidate with a degree (or equivalent) or an accountancy qualification and strong financial accounting abilities, looking to relocate to Dubai.
As a Commercial Director you will be tasked with ensuring our client fulfils their strategic business objectives. Working on a day to day basis as an integral member of the Solutions business unit’s senior management team, you will be responsible for the commercial and financial aspects of the business unit.
Acting as a conduit between Business Development, Project Delivery and the Shared Services departments, you will be given autonomy, genuine career progress in a positive motivated environment in which to work.
Your duties will include:
- Working closely with Senior Vice President to support operational managers and track risks and opportunities
- Enforcing best commercial practice and reporting across all regions and lines of business, including contract negotiations, analysis during tendering and bidding process
- Controlling, analysing and reporting of Solutions financials
- Liaising with project managers, finance and clients on the management of the balance sheet
- Producing a monthly services management report and providing inputs into the company management report
To be considered for this position, you must:
- Have a degree (or equivalent) or possess an accountancy qualification, such as ACA, ACCA or CIMA
- Have good technical skills in the areas of financial accounting and control procedures
- Have a proven ability to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes and work co-operatively in conjunction with clients and subcontractors
As a Commercial Director you must be a strong team player who can motivate and liaise effectively with technical, commercial and support staff team members. The ability to quickly develop professional and trusted relationships with a variety of cultures and clients is essential. You must also have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
